Metallica has just dropped a total of four versions of their legendary “Black Album” classic, “The Unforgiven.” Fans are already raving about the band’s own May 14th, 1991 “rough mix,” which will be featured on the band’s upcoming massive 30th anniversary box set for 1991’s the “Black Album” set for release on September 10th.

Also released are new versions of the tune by indie band Diet Cig, a Mexican-based rendition from Ha*Ash, and one by Shor Police, which Rolling Stone reported is, “the duo of Bollywood composer/producer Clinton Cerejo and singer-songwriter Bianca Gomes — and Indian rappers Divine and Vishal Dadlani. The trio turn the song into a booming industrial cut tinged with elements of metal, hard rock, and rap.
