Participated in job fair and event sponsored by educational institution relating to broadcast careers

On March 19, 2011, the stations participated in the day-long EXPO Grays Harbor/Trade Show and Job Fair, sponsored by Aberdeen High School- Aberdeen School District No. 5.  Station representatives provided information to attendees and answered questions regarding career opportunities in broadcasting.   Station participants included Operations Manager and General Manager.

Internship program

During the reporting period, 1 Grays Harbor College student interned at the stations in the programming department during the Fall quarter.

Management EEO training 

On September 13, 2011, Human Resources Manager completed on-line training course “Discrimination: First line of Defense” Employment Law training.  Human Resources Manager also completed, “The Plus of Us- Diversity Training for Supervisors” Learning and Development, Morris Communications Company, LLC.

Participated in job fair

On April 6, 2011, the stations participated in career fair sponsored by Harbor High School- Aberdeen School District No. 5.  Station participants included General Manager.
